In Portugal, all eyes will be on Porto, which hosts Benfica with just one point separating the two powers at the top of the Premeira Liga.
All over Europe this weekend, some of the fiercest rivalries in football will take to the pitches.
In La Liga, Real Madrid will try to get some revenge on Barcelona (2:45 p.m. beIN sports and Fubo.tv) for Wednesday, when the Blaugrana went to the Bernabeu and knocked Real Madrid out of the Copa Del Rey with a 3-0 win.
In Portugal, all eyes will be on Porto, which hosts Benfica (3:30 p.m. Gol and Fubo.tv) with just one point separating the two powers at the top of the Premeira Liga.
There are two derbies in the Premier League, and they bookend the weekend’s action. The North London Derby kicks of the festivities, and there is added significance to the contest. A win by the Gunners will cut the gap between them and Tottenham to just one point. With Manchester United at home just after the derby, wins by Arsenal and the Red Devils would see a two-point gap between third place and fifth.
Finally, Everton has its best chance in decades to spoil a title run by its Stanley Park neighbors, as Liverpool heads to Goodison Park. If Manchester City win Saturday at Bournemouth, the Toffees could prevent their bitter rivals from heading back to the top of the table with a result.
Once the domestic leagues are done for the weekend, the UEFA Champions League round of 16 takes center stage Tuesday and Wednesday, while the UEFA Europa League returns with its round of 16 first leg matches.
