‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ trailer shows Snooki and co. up to their old antics

MTV's 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' premieres at 8 p.m. on April 5. Nearly all 'Jersey Shore' cast members, including Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, Vinny, Ronnie and Deena, are back for a romp in Miami. Only this time they're married, have children or … are awaiting sentencing for tax evasion. Watch video

If you were in denial that MTV’s “Jersey Shore” revival was happening, it just got a little harder to keep those blinders on.

The network rolled out its first full-length trailer for “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” Thursday night.

The revival, filmed far from the Jersey Shore, in South Beach, Miami, returns to “Jerzday” Thursday nights starting with the premiere on April 5. Though this reunion promises plenty of the crew’s familiar antics, it will also see several cast members, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, talking about parenthood.

“I love my children but I never let loose,” opines Farley, 32, who listed her Toms River mansion, pictured with six bedrooms and a tanning bed, for $ 1.59 million in December. Like Polizzi, who lives in Florham Park, she’s a mother of two, a daughter and a son. After the end of Snooki and JWoww’s MTV spinoff series, “Snooki & JWoww” (it was the only “Jersey Shore” spinoff to make it past a first season and ended up lasting four), the pair popped up in the web series “Snooki & JWoww: Moms with Attitude.”

In Ortiz-Magro’s case, he contemplates impending fatherhood (in December, the 32-year-old reality star announced he was expecting his first child, a girl, with girlfriend Jen Harley).

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, meanwhile, stares down the possibility of prison time as he awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to tax evasion. (A judge allowed him to film the reunion series before his sentencing on April 25.) In the trailer, Polizzi, 30, frets about how Sorrentino, 35, who grew up in Manalapan, would handle being locked up.

“He’s literally not gonna survive,” she says.

MTV posted a first tease of the show in February following an E! “Reunion Road Trip” special with several cast members that aired in August, nearly five years after the end of “Jersey Shore,” which ran for six seasons on MTV. The network is airing “Road to Vacation” specials and “Jersey Shore” reruns each Thursday in preparation for the revival and will host a “Jersey Shore” marathon the weekend before the premiere.

The only one missing from the reunion is Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, 31, who was also the only Jersey native in the original cast. Giancola was present for the E! special, which did not include Ortiz-Magro, lending credence to reports that she does not want to hang around her ex. (Giancola has moved on with boyfriend Christian Biscardi, a Rowan University alum from Washington Township, Gloucester County.)

Giancola’s absence ensures at least one plot point — the tempestuous, occasionally violent and often abusive, on-again off-again relationship between her and Ortiz-Magro, aka “Stahp it, Rahn!” — will (likely) stay in the past (then again, we’ve said that before). But that doesn’t mean Giancola is permanently out of the picture. The first episode hasn’t even aired and “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” has already been renewed for a second season, so there’s still a possibility she could join her old crew for some shenanigans.

Otherwise, the GTL (gym, tan, laundry), the drinking, the dancing and the cabs (Ubers?) should all be game for a return next month.

Even Angelina Pivarnick, 31, who lasted less than two seasons after leaving the show twice in the first run and was famously called a “dirty little hamster” by Sorrentino, manages a surprise return (if Sorrentino’s reaction is any indication). Also back is “meatball” Deena Nicole Cortese, 31, who replaced Pivarnick in the show’s third season and got married in her native New Egypt in October.

“We’re going harder than we ever gone before!” Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, he of the suitcase-full-of-hair-gel, says in the trailer. When the spiky-haired Rhode Island guy is not getting name-checked in ASAP Ferg lyrics (see the 2:30 mark), DelVecchio, 37, works as a DJ. He had a residency in Las Vegas and has also made plenty of visits to Atlantic City (he’s currently touring and will be at Mister East in Roselle on March 31 and The Pool at Harrah’s Atlantic City on May 12).

Joining DelVecchio will be his trusted partner in fist pump-pushup-chapstick (FPC), Staten Island denizen Vinny Guadagnino, 30, who was last seen in “Vinny & Ma Eat America,” a Cooking Channel show co-starring his mother, Paola.

“We’re older, but I don’t think many of us are wiser,” Ortiz-Magro sagely observes.

“I feel like we’re classy now,” Farley suggests.

As ever, Polizzi has the last word.

“As we age, we just get more … delinquency,” she says, tentatively. “What’s the word?”
