Thieves steal wheels from cars at Jersey City dealership lot

Police responded to a Jersey City car dealership yesterday morning after thieves cut through the establishment's chain-link fence and stole the wheels from cars on the lot on Rt. 440.

JERSEY CITY  — Police responded to a Jersey City car dealership yesterday morning after thieves cut through the establishment’s chain-link fence and stole the wheels from cars on the lot on Rt. 440.

Officer found four cars stripped of their wheels and up on blocks when they responded Metro Honda around 9 a.m. yesterday.

Officers also found someone had cut through a section of fence circling the dealership located between Culver and Mallory avenues. Officers dusted the cars for fingerprints.
