Jennifer Lopez on life with ex-Yankees star Alex Rodriguez: Are they headed for marriage?

J-Lo talked about her life with Alex Rodriguez and happiness with the former three-time MVP, who is moving to the broadcast booth this season to replace new manager Aaron Boone on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball.

Celebrity couple update: All is still good in paradise.

For Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, one of pop culture’s most famous couples continues to life happily ever after.

But what about those marriage rumors that emerged recently? Will the former Yankees star and pop star tie the knot?

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lopez opened up on her relationship with Rodriguez and touched on the idea of one day taking their engagement to another level.

“I do believe in marriage,” Lopez said. “And I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I’m not forcing anything right now. It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t. We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup.”

Both Lopez and Rodriguez lived lives in the spotlight during a very early stage of adulthood, so these comments shouldn’t be surprising. Maybe a marriage will happen one day. Maybe it won’t.

But it does seem like this celebrity couple will be together for a while.

When Lopez first heard the lyrics to the song, written by Poo Bear and produced by Skrillex, she says she felt a visceral connection. “They played me about 20 different songs, and when I heard this one I was like, ‘Oh, this is relevant!’ Alex and I were just getting to know each other. And I was like, ‘Oh, my God, could this be? Could this be us?'”

Rodriguez will be taking his talents to ESPN this season for color analyst duty on Sunday Night Baseball.
